CG Composites Corporation is based in
Huntsville, Alabama and engaged in the development of composite
materials primarily for sandwich applications where a lightweight
core material is required.
CG Composites first
planned product is a PVC foam with aramid fibers that will span a broad
range of applications and industries. The Company’s expert team has
developed the foam from readily available cost efficient industrial
materials such as Expancel® and Kevlar®. Not only are there
many possible Applications for the core material, but the
Technology has several marketable advantages over existing materials
on the market today.
CG Composites operates in the core
materials sector, where the uses of the company’s products are
limited only to the imagination. Some of the larger segments and
applications are aerospace uses for commercial and light aircraft,
marine use for yachts and work boats, wind energy use in blades and
housings, and transportation for use in buses, regular and high
speed rail.
